The Video Head Impulse Test (vHIT) is a modern vestibular test that measures how well the inner ear balance organs and the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) are functioning. During the test, the patient wears video goggles while the examiner performs quick, small head movements. The test helps identify vestibular hypofunction and can evaluate the function of all six semicircular canals in the inner ear.
